First EP/Album Release Early 2012
I am very excited to announce that I will be launching my first EP/album early next year in 2012. I have been working hard on the songs in this EP, and is a personal side of me musically that you will get to hear.
The mixing engineer is Tim Dolbear (www.eclecticarecordings.com), who is in the Grammy board and is a veteran in the industry. It has been an amazing opportunity thus far of working with Tim and I look forward to upcoming projects with him on board as well.
I am currently at the phase of choosing which songs will be in the album, as well as recording the vocals for new songs that I have decided will be in the album. I have two finished songs, one of which is the single of the album called "No Fool For You", which leans more towards the pop genre. The EP, as I am hoping to achieve, is a combination of genres I grew up listening to - soul/gospel, r&b, pop rock, jazz. I am greatly influenced by a lot of old school r&b/soul artists so I hope that this album will channel those genres.
